For the February 26th municipal election, the Libertarian Party of Chicago Executive Committee enthusiastically endorses two of their own for Chicago Alderman in their write-in campaigns: Justin Tucker in the 1st Ward and Mollie May Brady in the 2nd Ward. Both candidates seek to initiate much needed fiscal and political reforms as part of the City Council and will use their positions to share Libertarian values with the citizens of Chicago.
The LP Chicago Executive Committee also endorses David Krupa in the 13th Ward. His candidacy has taken on the Chicago establishment head-on, and his campaign has experienced the same intimidation tactics as previous Libertarian campaigns.
Regarding a candidate for mayor in an officially non-partisan race, the LP Chicago Executive Committee recognizes that Willie Wilson, while not a member of the Libertarian Party, agrees with us on many issues such as cutting taxes, criminal justice reform, the abolition of red light cameras and others. Though we do not officially endorse his candidacy, we strongly recommend him the most of all the mayoral candidates.
Signed,
The Libertarian Party of Chicago Executive Committee
