Meetup: New Illinois

Where: The Piggery (1625 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL)

When: Sunday, August 4, 2019 7:00 PM through Sunday, August 4, 2019 9:00 PM

Unhappy with the status quo? That’s where we come in!

Join us for our August meeting. Our guests will be GH Merritt of New Illinois, a grassroots organization seeking a state split according to the procedures established in Article IV, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution; and Rep. Brad Halbrook (R-Shelbyville), who introduced House Resolution 101, which calls for the separation of Chicago and Illinois.

We will also have our new LP Chicago t-shirts available for those who become Sustaining Members for $24. Pocket Constitutions are available for a $1 donation.

You don’t have to be a member of the Libertarian Party to attend and we encourage people of all political persuasions to come. This is your chance to make new friends with like-minded individuals, get involved and take part in the growing Libertarian movement in Illinois. Join:

There will also be an opportunity for those interested in serving as Precinct Committeeperson to learn more. Click here:
